After his parents were hit with a major, unexpected tax bill due to poor financial advice, Thomas pivoted into financial services to ensure others could access better, more trustworthy guidance.
Today, as Chief Compliance Officer, Thomas manages the firm’s compliance program and supports HR, trading, database management, and technology systems. His experience in the industry dates back to 2005 and brings depth and reliability to Hobart Wealth’s infrastructure. Thomas lives in Charlotte with his wife, Jessica, their two children, Caleb and Shelby, and their dog, Albus. He’s passionate about family time, cooking, gardening, music, and binge-watching with his crew. A curious tinkerer at heart, he’s constantly exploring how things work, whether it’s tech tools or new flavors in the kitchen.
